ABOUT DR. MEREDITH STEPITA, DVM, DACVB

Picture
I’m a board-certified veterinary behaviorist helping pet owners achieve the best possible resolution of their pet’s undesirable behavior. I am also an author and speak nationally and locally on all types of animal behavior problems. I grew up in Maryland and then moved to Vermont where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. Then, I went on to veterinary school at the University of Tennessee. After veterinary school I moved to Arizona for an internship and stayed another year to work at various general practice veterinary hospitals in the Phoenix area. In 2008 I moved to California for a residency in behavior at UC Davis. I fell in love with California and have been here ever since! I share my life with my husband and our four-legged family members including dogs Tinkerbell, Lizzie, and Dug (Poodle/Pomeranian /Chihuahua mixes); cats Tarzan, Felicia, and Coco, and the occasional foster dog.
